Concrescence Institute is a non-profit organization and educational center. Drawing primarily from the wisdom traditions of process philosophy, Internal Family Systems, trauma studies, and a multitude of spiritual practices, Concrescence is dedicated to providing quality training for clinical and spiritual professionals in their call to support trauma recovery and emerging resiliency of individuals, communities, and the web of creation. Rooted in the deep knowing that all living beings have within themselves the inner knowing and resources for healing and flourishing, our learning programs seek to illuminate the ways in which overwhelming experiences disrupt this innate flow through blockages, ruptures, or constrictions and offer practices for restoring connections.
Concrescence Institute offers a core set of workshops in Internal Family Systems, Process Philosophy, Psychedelic Assisted Therapy, and MAT.TRR (multi-axial therapy for trauma repair and resolution). Our IFS workshop series is a functional equivalent to level 1 when completed. The Psychedelic Assisted Therapy program is centered in IFS and offers medicine specific training and certification. Concrescence Institute was founded in 2022 and is located in Woodstock, Georgia.
The term “concrescence” comes from the process philosophy of Alford North Whitehead. Process philosophy sees each moment of experience as unique and independent, though connected, with the moments of experience that come before and after. Each moment of experience opens to all dimensions of sensory, spiritual, and relational information. When the moment of experience is complete, it closes, integrates, and rests–both falling into the past and resting in the memory of the divine. This process of the open moment closing, integrating (or digesting), and resting is the action of “concrescence”.

She was trained in ketamine assisted psychotherapy in 2019 and MAPS MDMA assisted psychotherapy in 2021. She has facilitated ketamine enhanced IFS sessions since 2019, honing and refining protocols on the intersection of IFS and KAP. While between writing projects, she is developing a “blueprint” for integrative trauma care that actively accounts for alterations or expansions of consciousness.

COVID-19
Participants are required to be fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19 virus and obtain a negative PCR test 3-4 days prior to attending. We may also administer rapid tests at the door, depending on the status of the outbreak at that time. It is not our intention to require masking indoors, but if spread increases close to the time of retreat, we may require that, with the caveat that we would very much try to avoid masks while undergoing ketamine sessions as we feel this is unpleasant and distracting in the medicine space.
Absence Policy for Training
By registering for this workshop, you are pledging your full participation which includes being on time each day and staying for the full session. Not all CE granting organizations allow partial credit so it is possible that missing any of the training time will cause you to forfeit CE’s for the entire workshop. Due to the nature of the training, we strongly recommend remaining on site for the duration of the training.
