The Limbic Connection Between Fleshing Out and Witnessing

$90.00

2 CEs IFSI, NBCC

The Limbic Connection Between Fleshing Out and Witnessing workshop is an intermediate level exploration of the limbic system as a map for linking the F of Fleshing Out and what is needed for a more complete witnessing of a part for unburdening. The benefit of this workshop is a refined understanding of the limbic system as a therapeutic map for IFS therapists and practitioners. By rooting IFS practice in its neuroscientific structures, clinicians can more clearly guide clients in the process of witnessing—specifically the role of the thalamus in linking the missing elements of parts experience that need to be reclaimed to complete unburdening. This workshop will include an IFS meditation, didactic learning, and practice exercise.

Learning Objectives:

Learn the role of the limbic system in experiences of safety and of threat.

Identify the connection between the limbic system and the 6 Fs of IFS.

Discover the linkage between the elements of experience present in Fleshing Out and the needs of the witnessed part to complete unburdening.
